.SH DESCRIPTION
MCell is a modeling tool for realistic simulation of cellular signaling in the
complex 3-D subcellular microenvironment in and around living cells.

Suppress any default notifications (i.e. log messages which are not explicitly requested in the MDL file).

Set the random sequence number for this simulation to \fIN\fP.  By default, the random seed used is 1.

Set the maximum number of iterations for this simulation to \fIN\fP, overriding any specified \fBITERATIONS\fP setting in the MDL file.  Note that the simulation may still exit before this number of iterations if it reaches its specified checkpoint time.

Send all log output to \fIfilename.txt\fP, instead of stdout.

Send all error and warning output to \fIfilename.txt\fP, instead of stderr.

Display a report of the current iteration number in the simulation every \fIN\fP iterations, instead of the value specified in the mdl file, or the default value.
